The Role The Professional Services Consultant will oversee implementations and consultative engagements for the Proofpoint Data Security products, including Data Security Posture Management (DSPM), Insider Threat Management (ITM) On‑Premise and SaaS, Email DLP, Endpoint DLP, Cloud Application Security Broker (CASB), SaaS Isolation & Adaptive Access Control (AAC), and Proofpoint Isolation. This individual will develop new services, implement best practices, and assist in customer escalations as needed. The ideal candidate has the demonstrated ability to ensure successful service delivery and customer success, and supports third‑party DLP solutions (Microsoft + Symantec DLP offerings) to aid migrating legacy solutions to the Proofpoint Data Security Posture Platform. Your day-to-day Thoroughly scope engagements by assessing the client’s operations and business processes, gathering key business and functional requirements, and making recommendations to optimize Proofpoint technologies. Provide strategic program design solutions that allow clients to identify, protect, monitor, and manage their most protected data, and people. Work with the broader Professional Services, Support, Engineering, and Product teams to address customer concerns and manage escalations. Work closely with your corresponding sales organization to ensure customer needs are met and customer satisfaction continues to rank high. Present updates to management identifying risks, challenges, and proposed solutions. What You Bring To The Team 4+ years industry experience in a customer‑facing role 4+ years of experience in IT consulting or related fields. Familiarity with Data Security, Data Security Posture Management, Insider Threat Management, Endpoint Security, and/or Cloud Security concepts. Proficiency in Windows Server environment; experience with web infrastructure components like IIS and MS SQL is advantageous. Basic understanding of Linux infrastructure. Exposure to Microsoft or Symantec DLP solutions is desirable. Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Demonstrated organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail. Commitment to delivering exceptional client service, with the confidence to engage in‑person and virtually. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and follow through to completion. English proficiency in both technical and non‑technical communication is required. Technical Spanish speaking skills are desirable. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets as set out below. Pay within these ranges varies and depends on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate. This role may be eligible for variable compensation and/or equity. We offer a competitive benefits package, including flexible time off, a comprehensive well‑being program with two paid Wellbeing Days and two paid Volunteer Days per year, plus a three‑week Work from Anywhere option. Base Pay Ranges: SF Bay Area, New York City Metro Area – Base Pay Range 123,200.00 - 193,600.00 USD California (excludes SF Bay Area), Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Washington DC Metro, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Texas, Washington, Virginia, and Alaska – Base Pay Range 102,300.00 - 160,820.00 USD All other cities and states excluding those listed above – Base Pay Range 92,100.00 - 144,705.00 USD #J-18808-Ljbffr
