Junior Clinical Fellow in Neurology

Junior Clinical Fellow in Neurology (FY2) NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff across a wide range of clinical and non‑clinical professions. It delivers acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million, with a wider reach of 2.2 million when regional and national services are included. This fixed‑term, full‑rota post is for a 4‑month contract, based at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. The successful applicant will participate in an on‑call, out‑of‑hours rota and will work within a highly specialised regional neurology service. Responsibilities Deliver high‑quality patient care aligned with the latest best practices. Collaborate with clinical nurse specialists, specialist AHPs and ward‑based neurology nursing colleagues. Support the department and fulfil FY2‑grade duties across the neurology service. Participate in the on‑call, out‑of‑hours rota. Qualifications & Requirements FY2‑grade doctor who has completed the UK foundation programme within 3.5 years of the advertised post start date. Submit a Certificate of Readiness to Enter Specialty Training (CREST) if required. Show capability in providing care in a neurology setting (any specific experience may be considered). Begin the role in December 2025 or January 2026, whichever is scheduled.
