Chef Manager – Groupe Compass Quebec ltée Chef Manager (Full-time, Mid‑Senior level) – Kitchen Manager role at Groupe Compass Quebec ltée. Job SummaryAs Chef Manager, you will participate in all phases of food preparation, menu planning, and development; assist in catering and conference events; manage associates; ensure client satisfaction; enforce quality and safety standards including WC, SOOSH, WHMIS, and HACCP. Responsibilities Participate in food preparation, menu planning, and development. Assist in catering and conference events on site. Oversee hiring, training, scheduling, supervision of associates and address employee relations. Maintain positive client relationships and satisfaction. Ensure compliance with Compass Quality Assurance, Health and Safety Program, Occupational Health and Safety Act, WHMIS, and HACCP standards. Qualifications Minimum four years culinary experience with supervisory skills. Financial management knowledge, controlling food and labour costs. Experience in catering and banquet operations. Strong communication (written and verbal) and flexible scheduling ability. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and willingness to learn new programs. Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment. Preferred: Red Seal culinary certification. Benefits Health, vision, & dental coverage.
