Job responsibilities Wire electrical panels and subassemblies to be installed into automation machines Mount electrical components, wireway, cable tray and mechanical components associated with electrical devices Ability to troubleshoot electrical and control circuits Assemble automation & robotic systems in accordance with assembly and detail drawings and supporting documents Read engineering drawings Field Service & Machine Installations – as applicable Familiar with mechanical, fluid, and pneumatic systems Work in a team environment with the guidance of the Electrical Build Leader and Production Supervisor Maintain direct communication with Electrical and Mechanical Assembly Supervisors Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Personal tools required Must be able to read an electrical schematic Must possess the knowledge and ability to modify components to ensure proper fit, tension, clearances, and overall working limits of the machinery or equipment Must have a good working knowledge in electrical/mechanical assembly techniques and be proficient in working with hydraulic and pneumatic components Effective communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and codes Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints Experience with PLC programming and HMI interfaces Must be capable of working with engineering documentation Critical thinking/problem solving Commitment to being a team player with flexible, positive, adaptive approach to resolving problems, schedules and changes Effective communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams Maintain a clean and safe environment 3 - 5 years’ experience in machine building industry Uphold SPM standards as prescribed Requirements High school diploma, GED or equivalent Completion of a recognized electrical apprenticeship program Valid journeyman electrician license #J-18808-Ljbffr
