Based in Winnipeg, MB, the Technical Sales Specialist will play a key role in promoting, training, and selling the Price Controls line across Canada and the US. This position combines technical expertise with sales acumen, requiring the ability to understand complex HVAC systems and communicate their value to the end customer. If you’re outgoing, driven, and excited about technology and sales, this is the opportunity for you The Successful Candidate's Responsibilities Will Include Promote Price Controls HVAC thermostats and controls to a diverse range of customers, including contractors, engineers, end-users and building owners. Deliver training sessions to customers and representatives, showcasing product features, benefits, and the advantages of the Price Controls line. Actively sell products to achieve and surpass sales targets through a customer-focused, consultative approach. Build and nurture strong client relationships to ensure long-term satisfaction and loyalty. Travel across Canada and USA (up to 50% of the time) to meet clients, attend trade shows, and represent Price Controls at industry events. Work closely with the Sales Manager to relay customer feedback and support product enhancements. Keep abreast of industry trends competitor offerings, and new technologies to stay ahead in the market. The Ideal Candidate For This Position Will Have Knowledge of HVAC systems or controls is preferred. Accreditation from a technical college or university in mechanical technology or HVAC systems. Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in technical sales, ideally within the HVAC industry is preferred. In-depth technical knowledge of HVAC systems, thermostats, and controls. Demonstrated sales success with a history of meeting or exceeding targets. Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of simplifying technical concepts for various audiences. Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and adapt to a fast-paced environment. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time across Canada and USA. Must possess a passport for travel from the Canada to the USA. Nexus Status is preferred. Personality Traits Outgoing: Enjoys connecting with people and building rapport with clients and partners.
