Become a vital part of Island Health as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department in Port Hardy, British Columbia. This part-time role focuses on emergency nursing skills and comprehensive patient care.
In this role, you will take responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care within a dynamic emergency setting. Key Responsibilities

¢ Lead patient assessments and execute care plans â€
¢ Collaborate with medical staff for effective client interventions â€
¢ Communicate essential health information to clients and families â€
¢ Facilitate health education and advocate for client needs â€
¢ Manage priorities and resources within the emergency unit
Requirements:

¢ Accredited Nursing degree and current BC College Registration â€
¢ Minimum two years of recent emergency nursing experience â€
¢ Valid CPR certification; advanced certifications are a plus â€
¢ Confident in physical assessments and technical skills â€
¢ Willingness to adapt to challenging healthcare environments Utilize your nursing skills at Island Health and contribute to advancing emergency care in British Columbia.
