Our Loan Consultants are trusted advisors who deliver exceptional service while consistently exceeding sales targets.**YOUR ROLE** As a Loan Consultant, you’ll play a key part in growing our business by:* Actively promoting and selling loan and protection products in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment* Understanding customer needs to recommend the right financial solutions* Managing the entire sales process, both in person and virtually — from application to closing* Building strong relationships and earning trust through excellent service* Staying focused on individual and team sales goals* Performing credit assessments, processing payments, and managing overdue accounts* Expected salary range is $17.60 - $22.31 per hour* This posting is for an existing vacancy within our organization* Artificial intelligence may be used in parts of the recruitment process**Must-haves:*** Authorized to work in Canada* High-school diploma or the equivalent is an asset* Great communication skills**Extra - awesome to have:*** You have at least 1 year of prior experience in loan underwriting, experience in a financial institution.* Previous experience working with loan origination software* Post-secondary education in Finance or Business Administration* Maintain a positive supportive attitude, help to maintain a gratifying work atmosphere**Learn more:****Follow us on LinkedIn:**If you have a preferred language for communication, please kindly inform us whether you prefer French or English on your application.*Fairstone is an equal opportunity employer.
