Job Overview The Financial Analyst is responsible for driving forward‑looking insights through forecasting, margin analysis, and performance reporting. This role supports decision‑making across the ASG’s three plant operations by developing financial models, preparing executive‑ready dashboards, and analyzing business trends. The analyst collaborates cross‑functionally and plays a key role in budgeting, strategic planning, and ERP reporting evolution. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Complete month end and year end reporting as required by our corporate finance team. Complete in‑depth analysis of financial data, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide actionable insights and recommendations. Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and budgets, utilizing financial modeling to support strategic decision making and operational planning. Collaborate with the corporate finance team, business unit leads, and other stakeholders to analyze budget variances, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions. Collaborate with various departments to develop and manage budgets for automation projects. Support financial audits by providing documentation and conducting reconciliations to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations. Perform all duties in a timely manner within an ISO 9001 environment. Work safely and efficiently in accordance with company Health and Safety policies and other company policies. Education and Experience Post‑secondary education in finance, accounting, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in a similar role. Working toward CPA/CFA. Position Requirements Manufacturing or project‑based background is an asset within the corporate and business‑unit setup. Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting practices, and financial analysis techniques. Knowledge of regulatory standards and requirements. Financial modeling, forecasting, or budgeting experience. Strong competence using Microsoft Office and Hyperion or SAP BPC. Advanced analytical skills and attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive information. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Special Requirements (Physical Demands and Work Environment) Ability to sit at a computer workstation and perform data entry functions for an extended period of time.
