As Manager, Land Development and Municipal Engineering in our Red Deer office, you’ll guide a talented team and deliver solutions that make a lasting difference across Alberta. Your Impact Lead and inspire a team of 6+ professionals, fostering collaboration and excellence in project delivery. Drive business development strategies and build strong client relationships to expand WSP’s presence in land development and municipal engineering. Manage complex projects in transportation, land development, and municipal infrastructure from concept through construction support. Optimize resources and performance, ensuring financial and operational targets are met while promoting inter-office collaboration. Champion career growth, implementing development plans and succession strategies to empower your team. Collaborate across disciplines, contributing to innovative, sustainable solutions for communities. The Skills That Set You Apart Degree in Engineering or Certificate in Engineering Technology with 15+ years of progressive consulting and/or municipal experience. 8+ years of proven leadership in managing and mentoring technical teams. Expertise in transportation, land development, and municipal engineering design and construction, including water, sanitary, and stormwater systems. Strong knowledge of regional municipal clients and markets in Red Deer and surrounding areas. Demonstrated success in business development, client engagement, and proposal/report writing. Compensation AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YK: $122,900 – $162,800 MB & ON: $112,100 – $154,400 NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $111,000 – $147,400 Disclosure: The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
