About the Role
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and nurturing Preschool Assistant Teacher to support lead teachers in their vibrant preschool in Kimberley . This role is essential in assisting with daily classroom activities, supervising children, and helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment. You will work closely with the teaching team to ensure the well-being and development of young learners, contributing to their social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Join a dedicated facility that prioritizes a play-based learning approach in the capital of the Northern Cape .
Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in planning and implementing daily lessons and activities.
- Supervise children in the classroom, during playtime, and on excursions, ensuring their safety.
- Support children's individual needs, including feeding, hygiene, and emotional well-being.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Foster positive interactions among children and encourage social skills development.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with preschoolers or in a childcare setting.
- A genuine passion for early childhood education and child development.
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic understanding of child safety and first aid principles.
