About the Role
Our client is looking for a proactive and supportive Early Years Classroom Assistant to join their dedicated team in Kimberley. In this role, you will assist the lead teacher in creating a stimulating and safe learning environment for young children, supporting their daily activities, and contributing to their overall development. You will play a key part in facilitating classroom routines, engaging children in learning activities, and ensuring their well-being. This position is ideal for an individual with a passion for early childhood education who is eager to gain experience and contribute positively to a nurturing educational setting in Kimberley.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher in planning and delivering daily lessons and activities.
- Supervise children during classroom activities, playtime, and meal times, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Support children's learning and development by providing individual or small group assistance.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Communicate with the lead teacher and parents regarding children's progress and any concerns.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a childcare or early years setting is advantageous.
- A genuine interest in child development and education.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- Basic understanding of early childhood learning principles.
