Job Overview:A part-time position responsible for the implementation of participant treatment plans; monitoring participant wellness; monitoring the facility; cleaning the facility; program laundry and other duties as required.Roles and Responsibilities:Administration and OperationResponsible for implementing direction in the Live-in Aftercare ProgramResponsible for monitoring the facility; facility upkeep and cleaningResponsible for maintaining IPAC Best PracticesResponsible for inputting case notes to the EMR DatabaseResponsible for reporting pertinent clinical information to the Clinical Director and pertinent program information to the Director of OperationsOther duties as requiredParticipant CareResponsible for monitoring participant wellness and whereaboutsContinue to develop and implement model of careAssist program participants in continuing their recovery via life skills, education, therapeutic interventionsQualifications:Entry level position (training provided), with preference given to a diploma in social service work, or related field with mental health and addictions training; or combination of education and relevant work experience.Preference given to an Individual of Anishinaabe ancestry with Knowledge and understanding of Anishinabek history, clan systems, protocols, etiquette, culture, traditions, and ceremoniesDemonstrated superior interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and projectsAble to participate in outdoor and athletic programmingMature individual who can work independently with preference given to individuals living a traditional lifestyle and being on a life-long journey in traditional knowledgeRequirements:Possesses a valid Ontario class ‘G’ driver’s license in good standing with access to a reliable vehicle, able to obtain an ‘F’ class Driver’s license within 6 months of employment, with preference given to those who already hold a class ‘F’ driver’s licenseAbility to work outside normal business hours as requiredCompensation: Starting at $23/HourTo Apply:Please complete the application online at gwek.bamboohr.com/careersWe thank all applicants for their interest, however, only those applicants under consideration will be contacted for an interview. #J-18808-Ljbffr
