**Description**:

- Home Instead is looking for certified_, Personal Support Workers (PSW), Home Support Workers (HSW), Nursing Students, and Registered Nurses (RN). _Those with the courage and willingness to leave the safety of their own homes to make sure the most vulnerable stay safe in their own home._
- Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allow our clients to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care, and compassion._

**Duties include but are not limited to**:

- **Companionship**_
- Hygiene Assistance_
- **Home Management**_
- Meal Preparation_
- **Light Housekeeping**_
- Shopping & Errands_
- **Medication cueing**_
- Personal care assistance_

Keeping accurate records of care
- Properly maintain communication regarding:_
- Client activities _
- Progress_
- Concerns_
- **Treat & care for clients & their property with dignity & respect**_
- Alzheimer’s & Dementia Care_

**Requirements to be a Caregiver**:

- **Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner**_
- Complete a criminal background check with a vulnerable sector check_
- **Provide 2 professional and 2 personal references**_
- Complete our mandatory paid caregiver orientation_
- **Previous personal care experience is required/or the willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment**_

**Part-Time, Casual, & Full-Time hours available. We have a variety of shifts available, as we are available 24/7 for our clients**

Pay: $21.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- License (required)
