Expect a dynamic schedule—including days, evenings, nights, and on‑call rotations—paired with a rewarding sense of accomplishment and a tight‑knit team that connects across locations.Required QualificationsGraduate of an accredited program of Medical Imaging – Radiography.Registration with OAMRS/CAMRT preferred; possess valid liability insurance as defined by the CMRITO.Member in good standing of the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).Initiative, organizational, and decision‑making skills.Strong computer skills.Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal courteously and effectively with physicians, patients, and other members of the healthcare team.Capable of coping with a physically demanding workload.Must be available to work all shifts including weekends and stat holidays.DutiesPerform all general and special radiography procedures according to the Standards of Practice.Perform Quality Assurance procedures as set by department standards.Ensure adequate level of products and supplies to support daily operations.Archive/retrieve data to/from PACS.Report equipment deficiencies to the Charge Technologist/Manager.Instruct students during clinical rotation when required and participate in evaluating student’s progress.Assist in the orientation and training of new technologists.Demonstrate willingness to provide the highest quality service appropriate to the position based on continuous quality improvement.Demonstrate courteous behavior through polite and respectful communication with all co‑workers and patients.Participate in continuing education to increase professional growth and development.Maintain a general working knowledge of Diagnostic Imaging services policies and procedures.Perform other duties as assigned from time to time.Perform assigned duties in CT.Physical Demands AnalysisStrengthRequired frequently—lifting and carrying, pushing/pulling.MobilityRequired frequently—standing and walking on hard surfaces.Required occasionally—crouching/squatting.Required frequently—bending/stooping, bending, twisting/turning, reaching.DexterityRequired frequently—handling objects, gripping/grasping, neck, elbow, shoulder and wrist movement, reaching.Required frequently—fine finger movement.Equal OpportunityQuinte Health is an equal opportunity employer committed to meeting needs under the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedom and the Ontario Human Rights Code.
