Working closely with our offices in Labrador City, Montréal and Mont-Saint-Hilaire, the team is actively involved in developing the region and executing various projects in mining, metals and energy sectors. By joining our team, you’ll assist industrial clients in the energy and mining markets with operations, maintenance, and growth projects. You’ll perform site surveys, high‑and medium‑voltage equipment tests, and participate in commissioning new equipment and systems. You’ll also help with stages in project execution and be responsible for ensuring quality professional services and maintaining strong client relationships. Key Responsibilities Assist clients in day‑to‑day operations: troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, staff training, shutdown planning and asset management. Perform site surveys. Participate in equipment testing and commissioning. Conduct short‑circuit, power‑flow, protection coordination, arc‑flash hazard studies and harmonic content analyses as well as steady‑state and transient analyses in industrial power systems. Design and read various types of electrical drawings. Draft technical documents, calculation notes, specifications and reports. Attend internal or client coordination meetings. Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (or equivalent). Three or fewer years of relevant engineering experience. Available for short‑term work assignments between Sept‑Îles and Labrador City, depending on business needs. Available for short‑term (mandatory) and long‑term (asset) assignments across Québec and Canada. Knowledge of MS Office Suite and other database applications. Advanced English for collaboration with BBA offices and clients in English‑speaking provinces and internationally. Advanced French for collaboration within Quebec. Ability to draft technical in both languages. Asset: Graduate from the Institut en génie de l’énergie électrique (IGEE).
