The Credit team works cross‑functionally with Machine Learning, Fraud, Product, Engineering, Capital Markets, and Commercial teams to responsibly manage the risk profile of the business. We’re looking for an intelligent, driven individual who wants to learn, grow, and solve hard problems. The team’s mandate is to enable sustainable growth while closely managing the profitability and resilience of our portfolio. As affirm continues on an exciting growth trajectory, you will design credit strategies for new initiatives and products, partner with the Machine Learning team to continuously enhance our underwriting framework, and be ready to navigate through any exogenous changes. This role requires a lot of cross‑functional partnership, with extensive use of data analytics to derive insights and develop credit strategies. What you’ll do Partner with cross‑functional teams and be the Credit POC that manages the end‑to‑end credit strategy for the Amazon portfolio Leverage alternative data and optimize our credit strategy to expand credit reach to the low FICO and credit invisible users Partner with Machine Learning team to enhance our underwriting frameworkCLi>for high AOV Support new product formation and new vertical exploration What we look for 7+ years of work experience in the credit risk field A visionary leader who can challenge the status_PARAMETERS and identify opportunities, developing roadmap and strategy plan Working knowledge of fundamentals of the lending industry and credit risk management Fluent in SQL and experience with Python Strong time‑management skills – able to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast‑paced environment Ability to ഫ്രം collaborate and influence across teams Clear communication of findings and recommendations to technical and non‑technical audiences Pay Pay Grade – OEquity Grade – 6Employees new to affirm typically come in at the start of the pay range.
