Start at 3 PM. Stable hours for financial stability. Normal setting: repair/maintenance shop at our Brampton Hauling Site. Job Responsibilities Fix trucks and equipment servicing over 20 million customers across North America. Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment. Estimate time and material costs on vehicle repairs and new parts. Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs). Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns. Conduct safety checks on vehicles; prioritize safety for employees and community. Complete required paperwork, documenting parts usage and accounting for repair times. Assist senior mechanics in completing project work. Review, complete, or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports. Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA standards. Qualifications Licensed 310T Mechanic. Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience. Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Over 18 years of age. Legally eligible to work in Canada. Ability to perform physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodations. Successfully complete and pass a pre‑employment drug screen and physical. Physical Demands Required to exert physical effort that includes frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, and climbing; constant standing, walking, and grasping; occasional sitting and balancing. Required exposure to physical occupational risks such as cuts, burns, and toxic chemicals. Required exposure to environmental factors involving dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements. Job operates in both indoor garage/shop and outdoor conditions with inclement weather, heat, and humidity.
