Summer Student – Customer Service Representative (Bilingual) Join the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) this summer as a Customer Service Representative (CSR). You’ll support injured and ill workers by responding to inquiries about claims, benefits, and other services. About the WSIB The WSIB is dedicated to protecting injured workers and building safer workplaces across Ontario. As a hybrid environment, this role requires the successful applicant to work in office up to 5 days a week in 2026. Key Responsibilities Answer and direct inquiries from workplace parties, internal partners, or others. Analyze caller needs and provide first‑contact resolution or collaborate with partners for further solutions. Identify and take appropriate action for callers in crisis, escalations, media calls, security, privacy breaches, or legislative changes. Provide written responses to online inquiries and user support. Collect information from workplace parties to assist internal decision‑making. Search WSIB computer systems and resources for claim information, record actions, generate letters and forms, and update profiles. Perform other duties as required. Maintain an empathetic and accurate customer experience. Professional Requirements & Qualifications Legally authorized to work in Ontario, Canada. Full‑time post‑secondary student enrolled full‑time in September 2026, or returning to studies next term, or graduated within last six months. Able to work full time for whole summer (May 4 – Sep 4 2026) with no planned absences. Provide proof of eligibility to work legally in Canada when advanced in recruitment.
