Position Summary As a key member of the Finance department, and reporting to Sr. Finance Manager, the Senior Analyst, FP&A will be responsible for providing key internal stakeholders with value‑added, business performance insights and analysis to assist in their decision‑making process for managing the day‑to‑day and long‐term business goals. The Senior Analyst, FP&A will build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders and provide professional financial assistance in alignment with organizational priorities. Key Accountabilities Support the business in financial planning and forecasting through reports that facilitate department performance analysis of business targets. Prepare the monthly, quarterly, and annual budget, and analyze actual and budget variances on an ongoing basis. Maintain detailed budgeted templates. Prepare timely and accurate department performance reporting and review financial operating results to identify key trends, variances, and measure financial results against budget and forecast. Reconcile results with Financial Plans to ensure accuracy and consistency. Communicate with internal stakeholders to ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to. Required Competencies 3‑5 years’ experience in a similar role. Post‑secondary bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or Business. Possess or in pursuit of a Canadian professional accounting designation (CPA) preferred. Experience with SAP considered an asset. Experience with quantitative software applications including SQL would be an asset. Excellent communication (written and verbal), organizational and interpersonal skills. Experience working in a team‑oriented collaborative environment. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Sense of initiative and accountability, and able to work with minimal supervision.
