Position: Accounting Technician (Finance) Location: Montreal, Quebec, CanadaEmployment type: Full‑timeSeniority level: Entry levelIndustry: Insurance Responsibilities Reconcile and issue checks to accounts payable to insurance companies. Issue checks to external brokers. Reconcile the auxiliary accounts payable to the general ledger. Provide support to team members. Carry out other related tasks and projects. Ideal Candidate 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role. College degree (DEC) in accounting. Proficient in French and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages. Excellent knowledge of the MS Office Suite, especially Excel. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with a high volume of transactions. Ability to work well independently, in a team, and with other members throughout the organization. Excellent organizational and time‑management skills. Attention to detail and precision are essential.
