Discover the rewards of career satisfaction working within a strong culture of teamwork while delivering excellence in care In this position you will be part of a team of 7 talented and dedicated pediatricians providing general acute care, neonatal and consultant pediatric services to patients and their families at RIH. Enjoy a busy and challenging practice working alongside an excellent team of caring professionals. RIH is a referral centre serving the residents of Kamloops and the Thompson, Shuswap, Cariboo region offering 9 pediatric beds. The NICU is a level 2B (CPAP, short term ventilation, TNP) nursery with 8+ beds. Affiliated with the UBC Faculty of Medicine Southern Medical Program, this role is also actively involved in teaching medical students and residents. For those interested, Leadership Development Opportunities are available with Interior Health’s NAVIG8 Program. The NAVIG8 Emerging Physician Leaders Program is a comprehensive leadership development program designed specifically for physicians to address the practical leadership knowledge, behaviours and skills that high potential, emerging medical leaders require to step into leadership roles early in their careers.
