Infrastructure Project Manager and Engineer Reporting to the Director of Infrastructure Project Management, you will take full ownership of infrastructure projects, from planning through to execution. With complete autonomy, you will lead hands‑on work ranging from stabilization and dock repairs to complex underwater interventions, including steel, concrete, and civil structures. By joining the infrastructure team of Canada’s oldest port, you will be directly involved in a wide array of asset maintenance and modernization projects. Over the coming years, these initiatives will generate a significant volume of work—from simple to highly complex—where your engineering expertise will make a real impact. Responsabilities Independently and rigorously manage infrastructure projects, from planning to work coordination Define project needs, set objectives, and identify key challenges Prepare preliminary construction cost estimates Draft project briefs for each assigned mandate Prepare tender documents for consultants and contractors Oversee the engineering design process Supervise and coordinate all construction activities and project monitoring Guide and coordinate the work of consultants, subcontractors, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle Ensure administrative and technical follow-up throughout each project Conduct technical studies and produce detailed reports Ensure compliance with project scope, budget, and schedule Participate in multidisciplinary projects involving mechanical, electrical, and building systems Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners Design smaller-scale projects in‑house Contribute to the development and implementation of the Port of Québec’s asset maintenance plan Daily Develop and implement processes to optimize practices, with a focus on continuous improvement. Qualifications Formations Hold a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or in another field relevant to the position. Experience Have at least 8 years of experience in similar roles. Knowledge of applicable codes and standards (NBC, S16, A23.3, S6, etc.) Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Project Excellent analytical skills Strong ability to work collaboratively within a team Solid writing skills and fluency in spoken and written French Demonstrated adaptability and agility You are...
