Manage Telematics Control Unit (TCU) projects from design to completion.

[ads1] Job Responsibilities:
  • Host TCU technical design reviews and understand dependencies on other software teams
  • Track technical issues until resolution, integration, and testing
  • Manage delivery of various TCU projects (using JIRA dashboards and the agile methodology) and report program progress to upper management
  • Deliver software releases meeting TCU Build-to-Print (BTP) build schedule and act as the TCU software point of contact for BTPs
  • Working with the Ford D&R(s), other ECU stake holders, deliver TCU software on time to Ford’s internal & external customers (test releases, GPDS milestones, and future OTA Gondolas).
  • Work with hardware team to understand hardware dependencies
  • Manage SW supplier issues as applicable and be Ford’s point of contact for escalations.
Job Requirements:
  • Time Management – must have the ability to work within deadlines
  • Process – Agile methodology and Software Development Process
  • Communication skills – Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Multitasking – must have the ability to work on many tasks at once
  • Engineering, science, or business related Bachelor’s degree (Successful candidates will be required to provide proof of degree completion for the highest level of education attained. If the degree was obtained from a school outside of Canada, an Education Credential Assessment report showing Canadian equivalency is also required.)
  • Tooling – JIRA, GitHub and TestRail experience
  • Strong organization skills – tracking several programs and releases at once
  • 5+ years of experience delivering products or software release management
  • Personal Management – Strong leadership and management skills are essential
