Sales Associate – Orthopaedics (Joint Reconstruction) Location: Montreal, Quebec, Canada Company: Johnson & Johnson MedTech (DePuy Synthes) Position Summary Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Sales Associate is a high-growth role designed for an ambitious professional looking to build a career in medical sales. You will serve as the primary clinical and technical resource in the operating room, acting as a trusted consultant to orthopaedic surgeons during hip, knee, and shoulder arthroplasty procedures. Key Responsibilities • Intraoperative Clinical Support: Provide expert technical guidance during live surgical procedures, ensuring surgeons and scrub nurses have the correct instrumentation and implant components. • Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong partnerships with surgeons, nursing staff, and hospital administration to drive the adoption of Depuy Synthes solutions. • Logistics & Inventory: Oversee the management of consignment stock and loaner equipment to ensure 100% readiness for every scheduled case. • Educational Support: Facilitate "In-service" training and educational workshops for hospital staff on new surgical techniques and product launches. • Territory Strategy: Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager to identify growth opportunities and provide market insights. • On-Call Commitment: Provide essential support for trauma and emergency orthopaedic cases, which may include evenings and weekends as required by clinical demand. Qualifications & Skills • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences (Biology, Kinesiology, Nursing, Etc.), Business or related field. • Communication: Fully bilingual (English/French) with the ability to discuss complex clinical data with surgeons and administrative staff. • Aptitude: High mechanical/technical aptitude; ability to learn complex surgical workflows quickly. • Physicality: Ability to transport and lift instrument trays (approx. 25–40 lbs) in a fast-paced hospital environment. • Mindset: Self-motivated, highly organized, and resilient under the pressure of a surgical setting. ——— Associé(e) commercial(e) – Orthopédie (Arthroplastie) Lieu : Montréal, Québec, Canada Entreprise : Johnson & Johnson MedTech (DePuy Synthes) Résumé du poste Relevant du directeur régional des ventes, l’associé(e) commercial(e) est un rôle de développement stratégique conçu pour un(e) professionnel(le) ambitieux(se) souhaitant bâtir une carrière dans le domaine des technologies médicales. Vous agirez à titre de ressource clinique et technique principale au bloc opératoire, servant de consultant(e) de confiance auprès des chirurgiens orthopédistes lors d'interventions d’arthroplastie de la hanche, du genou et de l’épaule. Responsabilités principales • Présence clinique peropératoire : Fournir un soutien technique et une assistance clinique durant les chirurgies, en veillant à ce que les chirurgiens et le personnel infirmier disposent de l'instrumentation et des composantes d'implants appropriés. • Gestion des relations : Développer et maintenir des partenariats solides avec les chirurgiens, le personnel soignant et la direction hospitalière afin de favoriser l'adoption des solutions Depuy Synthes. • Excellence logistique : Superviser la gestion des stocks en consignation, des plateaux d'instruments et de l'équipement en prêt afin d’assurer leur disponibilité et leur conformité. • Soutien pédagogique : Faciliter les formations techniques et les ateliers pour le personnel hospitalier sur les nouvelles techniques chirurgicales et les lancements de produits. • Stratégie territoriale : Collaborer avec le directeur régional des ventes pour identifier les opportunités de croissance et fournir des perspectives stratégiques sur le marché. • Offrir un soutien occasionnel « sur appel » pour les procédures orthopédiques (pouvant inclure les soirs et les fins de semaine, selon les besoins cliniques). Qualifications et compétences • Formation : Baccalauréat en sciences de la santé (biologie, kinésiologie, soins infirmiers, etc.), en administration des affaires ou domaines connexes. • Communication : Parfaitement bilingue (français/anglais), capable de discuter de données cliniques complexes avec les chirurgiens et le personnel administratif. • Aptitudes : Fortes aptitudes mécaniques et techniques; capacité à apprendre rapidement des protocoles chirurgicaux complexes. • Exigences physiques : Capacité à transporter et à soulever des plateaux d'instruments (environ 25 à 40 lb) dans l'environnement dynamique d'un centre hospitalier. • Profil : Autonomie, grand sens de l'organisation et résilience face à la pression inhérente au milieu chirurgical.
