By doing these things we help them create success for their customers and their people. Responsibilities Bring a growth mindset and sense of urgency. Act as a bridge between our team and government, sharing up-to-date insights on the latest solutions, formulating creative approaches to address business and technical challenges, presenting workshops with senior leaders, and translating technical jargon into layman's language. Challenge conventional thought by using your skills, insight, and experience to help the government see what it takes to do the right things versus simply doing things right. Impact our workplace revenue and gross profit, emphasizing end‑user experience and professional services. Collaborate with key personnel at Shared Services Canada, the Department of National Defence, and the Canadian Armed Forces, along with various OEMs, contractors and adjacent organizations. Work in partnership with Account Directors to engage with SSC and DND/CAF directly, early in the sales cycle, to modernize the workplace and improve employee experience. Collaborate with government personnel to understand mandates, mission objectives and technical requirements. Design and develop workplace‑centric solutions tailored to departmental requirements. Create detailed technical presentations and workplace solution blueprints. Define the services required for deploying these solutions. Provide technical leadership and guidance during pre‑implementation phase, ensuring the services delivery team is fully briefed on expected project outcomes. Participate in assessments and audits of existing network infrastructures to ensure solutions meet DND/CAF needs. Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry best practices. Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends. Maintain relevant technical certifications in your specialization areas. Collaborate with partner field sales and solution architecture teams. Build and maintain account and market penetration plans on assigned accounts. Serve as the quarterback of opportunities from customer needs assessment through closing deals and driving diversification. Engage pre‑sales and internal support to provide outstanding, end‑to‑end service. Nurture strategic relationships with key partners and vendors. Qualifications 7+ years of experience selling technology solutions in a pure sales or technical pre‑sales role. Demonstrated sales experience with industry‑leading productivity platforms such as Microsoft 365, Cisco WebEx, and Google Workplace. Relevant certifications are desirable. Experience driving workplace automation and end‑user self‑service solution sales. Ability to navigate complex solutions that include multiple OEM partners and professional services. Comfortable conducting people‑focused conversations around persona building, end‑user adoption, and change management. Experience aligning departmental mandates and initiatives with technology requirements. Proven success in uncovering, developing, and selling end‑user productivity and modern workplace solutions. Insatiable curiosity to learn about new technologies and their impact on customers’ businesses. Exceptional communication and personal skills, written, verbal, and presentation to groups including C‑level executives. Strong analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience. Knowledge of MEDDPICC is an asset. Active security clearance (secret or higher) is an asset. Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset.
