Occupying 78 acres of parkland surrounded by a Carolinian forest, our club offers a unique and beautiful setting for our members. Since our founding in 1912, we have continued to provide exceptional experiences and make history come alive.
At the Tamahaac Club, our members can enjoy a variety of sports and activities, including tennis, pickleball, bocce, skeet shooting, and croquet. We specialize in hosting weddings and corporate events, where we aim to elevate the food and beverage experience to the highest level.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Sous Chef at the Tamahaac Club in Ancaster, ON. The Senior Sous Chef will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and menu planning. They will lead and mentor a team of culinary professionals to deliver high-quality meals and ensure guest satisfaction. The Senior Sous Chef will work closely with the Executive Chef to create innovative and delicious dishes.
Qualifications
Strong culinary skills including food preparation, cooking, and menu planning
Experience in a leadership role in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Knowledge of culinary techniques and best practices
Ability to create innovative and visually appealing dishes
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a team and delegate tasks effectively
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
Relevant culinary certifications or training
