With 15 locations in Ontario and almost 600 employees and growing, we are looking for top talent to join our team.We are looking for Licensed and Aprentice 310T Diesel Mechanics/Technicians for our Mississauga dealership located at 7450 Torbram Rd, Mississauga, ON L4T 1G9. This is a full-time permanent position.Reporting to the Service Manager, this position is responsible to diagnose problems and make repairs to all types of trucks, buses, trailers, and other automotive vehicles.ResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance of all Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) regulations, as well as the Company’s Health and Safety Policy.Provide technical service to vehicles and equipmentRead job order, observe and listen to vehicle in operation to determine malfunction and plan work procedures.Perform general and detailed repair of all trucks, engines and components.Document work performed.Overhaul gas or diesel engines.Examine protective guards, loose bolts and specified safety devices on trucks and make adjustments as needed.Save and tag parts if the job is under warranty.Attend training classes and keep abreast of factory technical bulletins.Maintain a safe and clean work environmentOther duties may be assignedBasic QualificationsLicensed or Registered Apprentice (310T or 310S)Good communication skills and work attitudeQuality DrivenSAP experience is an assetValid Driver's License and a good driving recordCriminal Record CheckDriver's AbstractAZ/DZ License is an assetWe Offer the following BenefitsCompetitive wagesComprehensive Group Insurance Benefit Plan including employer paid medical, vision and dental plans.Relocation potential across OntarioRegistered Retirement Savings PlanCareer education with ongoing OEM and supplier trainingExcellent growth potentialBonus Program paid quarterlyAnnual Training IncentivesAnnual boot allowanceFamily oriented team environment***We wish to thank all applicants for their interest in a career with Rush Truck Centres of Canada.
