Arobas Personnel is looking for an Application Production Support Specialist for a contract with one of our clients located in Montreal. *Remote : Hybrid- 3 days/week on site* What will your day look like? Investigate production issues, identify root causes, and coordinate timely resolutions with stakeholders, clients, software vendors, and technology specialists. Support the full product deployment life cycle, including new releases, standards, and patches. Maintain accurate and up-to-date support documentation, following the organization’s policies and tools. Provide project support and deliver timely updates on progress, risks, and action plans. Prepare documentation for business continuity, system architecture, and disaster recovery plans for supported platforms. Coordinate post-migration validation in production environments, ensuring end-to-end testing with users. Participate in governance and audit activities, addressing findings and implementing corrective actions. Contribute to post-incident reviews, documenting root causes and preventive measures. Collaborate with global teams across the U.S., Canada, Paris, India, Singapore, and Hong Kong on enterprise-wide initiatives. What you bring to the team: 5+ years of experience in application production support. Strong hands‑on expertise with UNIX, Linux, and Shell scripting. Solid experience with Oracle (preferred), including SQL and PL/SQL. Familiarity with Windows servers. Working knowledge of infrastructure and security technologies such as VMware, WebSphere, Tomcat, firewalls, PGP encryption, CFT, IBM MQ Series, etc. Flexibility to work various shifts (morning, evening, weekend) as needed to support critical operations. Proven ability to work effectively under pressure in a 24/7 production environment. Languages: English: Advanced (5/5) — French is an asset. #J-18808-Ljbffr
