Position Overview We are looking for a Senior Commercial Account Manager who will leverage interpersonal strengths and a strong network to generate new business opportunities while managing a portfolio of existing clients. Your main objective is to impact the success of entrepreneurs with sales between $3M and $50M through our financing solutions and advisory services. Challenges to Be Met Meet with entrepreneurs to understand their business needs and challenges, providing advice and applicable BDC service offerings to support their growth. Execute an action plan aligned with the Business Centre’s objectives to ensure growth and retention of current clients while acquiring new clients and creating a business opportunity pipeline. Review, negotiate, and present financing proposals while exercising credit judgement. Be present in the local business community by networking within your existing network of centers of influence (COI) to develop relationships and obtain references that facilitate new client acquisition. What We Are Looking For Ability to travel to rural and remote communities to engage with clients and support local business development initiatives. Bachelor’s degree in commerce or business administration. 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in commercial banking/finance and a solid understanding of the business world. Strong financial acumen and experience analysing financial statements. Demonstrated ability in business development and delivering on set targets. Outstanding customer service, providing advice that clients remember. A team player who creates lasting and trusting relationships with peers, business contacts, and external partners. Strong negotiation skills focused on results. Bilingualism in French is an asset. A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is required.
