Camp Counsellor (Part Time) – Granite Club We are looking for a part‑time Badminton Camp Counsellor to assist Granite Badminton Staff with Goodminton day camps from Monday to Friday each week. Help run drills, games, and matches under the guidance of Granite Staff, supervise lunch hour and the swim period, and ensure all campers are picked up by parents or guardians at the end of the day. Primary Responsibilities Safe check‑in and check‑out of campers. Express drop‑off between 8:50 am–9:05 am. Attend regular staff meetings. Assist children in getting ready for activities and ensure punctuality. Provide a safe, fun environment for the campers. Ensure rules are adhered to. Clean areas at the end of the day. Ensure children eat lunch and snack, sit with them, and model positive eating habits and encourage recycling. Creatively develop crafts and game ideas that fit weekly themes. Dress up on dress‑up days. Record questions and concerns from parents for the supervisor. Participate in non‑instructional activities (swimming, sports, tennis, etc.) and encourage participation. Be a positive role model for children and staff. Communicate daily with parents. Be on time for shift and prepare all materials 15 minutes before camp starts. Familiarise themselves with each child’s information: allergies, emergency contacts, pick‑up persons. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Minimum Grade 11. Valid CPR & Emergency First Aid certification. Responsible, patient, genuine love for children. Experience working with preschool‑aged children (asset). Previous camp‑counsellor experience (asset). Experience with Art, Drama, Science, Gymnastics, Cheerleading, Dance, French, Tennis, Squash, or Badminton (asset). Flexible schedule: weekends, weekdays, holidays, AM/PM.
