If you are a Senior Financial Analyst on your way to Assistant Controller and have a strong work ethic and a passion to deliver, this may be a great role for you to consider with a well‑established, global organization Advantages Competitive base salary offering and growth opportunities exist Health and dental plan Pension match program Generous vacation policy Incredible opportunity to work closely with the Controller and CFO and to learn so many new things Responsibilities Assist with the development of the budget as well as monthly/quarterly forecasts Assist in the review of internal controls Prepare corporate periodic journal entries and perform account analysis Support the business unit teams in business case preparation and ad‑hoc analysis as required Develop a deep understanding of retail major performance drivers and assist business decision‑makers in the development of action plans to meet financial goals and mitigate risks Partner with the finance team and business unit teams to complete month‑end management reporting packages Provide coaching to junior members of the Finance team and support other business partners as a subject‑matter expert on finance‑related issues Assist in the preparation of quarterly Board presentations Develop and implement systems and processes to enable product, business unit, customer, and supplier reporting Assist in the development, implementation, and reporting of KPIs Support and provide analysis of product and customer profitability Qualifications Post‑secondary degree in accounting or finance as well as a CPA and an MBA, or working towards Experience with SAP an asset, or similar ERP system, as well as strength in MS Office and advanced Excel skills Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, oral and written, as well as superior interpersonal and relationship building skills Strong problem solving and analytical capability is essential Strong work ethic Summary If this role sounds like a great match for your experience and skills, please apply directly today You can also reach me by email at kristina.davidson@randstad.ca Randstad Canada is committed to fostering a workforce reflective of all peoples of Canada.
