Canlin Energy is looking for a motivated ProductionAccountant who wants to grow into a Midstream Accounting role. This positionsupports midstream accounting for all operated assets and is a great fit forsomeone with strong production accounting experience, solid Metrix skills, andan interest in learning midstream operations with guidance from experiencedmentors. We’re looking for someone detail‑oriented, eager to learn,and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment. You’ll receive hands‑on mentorshipfrom senior midstream accountants while taking on meaningful work that buildsyour technical and operational skills. Key Responsibilities Full cycle production & revenue accounting for ABOperated gas plant and non-operated properties Monthly review and reconciliation of accountsreceivable. Assist with reviewing and processing amendments. Assist in external audit queries related to production,royalties, revenue, and transportation. ReviewJV and facility agreements to identify and apply the appropriatemidstream, processing, transportation, and marketing fees. Supportmidstream accounting for operated gas plants, pipelines, batteries, andrelated infrastructure. Maintainand update Metrix master data, including midstream fees and facilitycharge details. Validatepipeline and facility flow paths, allocations, shrinkage, fuel, flare, anddeductions. Workwith Measurement, Operations, Engineering, and Marketing to confirmvolumes, dispositions, and fee applications. Generateand analyze reports using Optix, Metrix, Excel, and other reporting toolsto ensure correctness of monthly processing fees. Supportstakeholders by responding to and resolving their questions or concerns. Identifyworkflow improvements, automation opportunities, and data accuracyinitiatives. Buildstrong working relationships across the organization. Experience & Skills Strongproduction accounting background with 5 to 10 years' experience Has astrong working knowledge of Metrix Interestin developing expertise in midstream accounting, pipeline flows, andfacility operations. Stronganalytical skills and intermediate to advanced Excel capability (pivottables, VLOOKUP, data analysis). Abilityto interpret data, identify discrepancies, and support financial analysis. Familiaritywith Qbyte FM, Avocet, EnergyLink, Petrotranz, Petrinex, and MicrosoftOffice is an asset. Strongcommunication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills. Aproactive mindset with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges. Education CAPPAcertification preferred or in progress. Degreeor diploma in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field is anasset. #J-18808-Ljbffr
