We create and deliver innovative industrial solutions to customers in the agricultural, mining, oil and gas, petrochemical, pulp and paper, nuclear and renewable energy industries.PTW is hiring a night shift Construction Supervisor to join our project team in Fort St John, BC.A DAY IN THE LIFEInitiate, coordinate, direct, and schedule site personnel to ensure project objectives are met.Assist with the optimizations of mechanical and electrical design drawings.Assist in preparation and negotiation of mechanical and electrical subcontracts.Monitor the overall progress of the project and take corrective action where necessary.Maintains a respectful and engaging work environment for all employees.Ensures that PTW policies and project procedures are being adhered to; including PTW's Health Safety, Security and Environmental Policies.Maintain a good working relationship with customers, consultants and subcontractors.Prepare and review reports on progress, costs, materials used and adjust work schedules as required.Accountable for compliance with the union agreement.Prepare overall work plan and schedule in conjunction with Site Superintendent and Project Manager.Experience RequirementsMust be local to the areaMust be a Journeyman ElectricianMinimum 3-5 years' experience in industrial and oil field experienceA demonstrated ability to work safelyAbility to pass a drug and alcohol pre-access5/2 Night RotationDetail and deadline orientedExcellent communication skillsMust be legally eligible to work in Canada and 18 years or olderTickets RequirementsMust have applicable safety tickets (i.e. CSTS-09, WHMIS 2015, Fall Arrest, Aerial Work Platform)Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.Why PTW?Competitive Wages and benefits plans | RRSP program available | Quality work | Safety and quality are built into everything we do | Safety Training and PPE provided | Consistent work | Opportunity for advancement | Learning and development | Opportunities to travel, stay local or relocate | Team atmosphere | People-focused companyAdditional InfoPTW is an equal opportunity employer and we are committed to achieving greater accessibility by providing accommodation for people with disabilities during our hiring process.
