About the Opportunity:

We are seeking motivated and reliable General Construction Labourers to join our team on the Site C Project in Fort St. John, BC. This is an excellent opportunity for local candidates with general labour or construction experience to contribute to a major infrastructure project in the region.

The work is shift work with 11 hour days – 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off rotations. Day shift and Night Shift will alternate between each rotation. Locals might have opportunity for a different shift schedule than the 14 on/off rotation.

Please respond with any equipment operation certifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general construction tasks, including site preparation, material handling, and cleanup.
  • Hang Wire Mesh
  • Assist skilled tradespeople with various construction activities.
  • Operate basic tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
  • Support project tasks as directed by supervisors.

Requirements:

  • Must be a resident of Fort St. John, BC, or surrounding area.
  • Previous experience in construction or general labour work.
  • Ability to pass a mandatory drug and alcohol test prior to hiring.
  • Physically fit and able to perform demanding tasks in various temperature conditions.
  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and ability to work in a team.
  • Valid safety certifications (e.g., CSTS, WHMIS) are an asset but not mandatory.
