OverviewClinical Research Coordinator – Psychoeducational Group Moderator at the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC), Montreal. The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS).Position SummaryThe Clinical Research Coordinator – Psychoeducational Group Moderator for Endometriosis Patients is responsible for leading and moderating a psychoeducational and support group pilot program for patients living with endometriosis. The person will collaborate with Investigators and health care personnel to manage the overall patient coordination and session delivery.ResponsibilitiesElaborate the basis of a support group pilot program that includes a didactic component and a moderated group discussion componentPrepare themes and material for the sessionsRecruit participants, prescreen patients and obtain informed consentAssess patients for protocol eligibility through interviews and/or medical record review in in-patient and out-patient settingsMaintain, complete and update concomitant and adverse event logs and questionnaires and protocol-specific source documentationSchedule sessions, present the didactic component, moderate sessions, monitor attendance and follow up on issuesConduct patient exit interviews, organize follow-up meetings, and refer patients to individual counseling or additional support services as neededPerform other related tasks as assigned by supervisorEducation / ExperienceEducation: Bachelor’s DegreeField of Study: PsychologyOther Education Considered An Asset For This PositionWork Experience: 1 yearClinical research experience is an assetRequired SkillsGood standing member of the Ordre des psychologues du Québec (OPQ)Bilingual: French and English (spoken and written)Solid written and verbal communication skillsAble to work under minimal supervisionSelf-directed, flexible, organized with strong ethicsAdditional InformationStatus: Temporary Part-Time, approximately 3 hours a weekPay Scale: $24.40 - $45.29/hour.
