Application Support Engineer, Trilogy (Remote) Location: RemoteAnnual Salary: $60,000 USD (equivalent to $30/hr)Employment Type: Full-time (Contractor of Record with Crossover)Seniority Level: AssociateJob Function: Engineering and Information Technology Job Overview This role bridges advanced AI and human expertise to deliver rapid, reliable support for complex customer issues. You will train, refine, and guide AI‑augmented ‘cyborg’ agents, turning isolated fixes into repeatable automations and enhancing the overall system intelligence. Key Responsibilities Combine technical human expertise and AI capabilities to provide exceptional customer support, concentrating on complex issues that AI cannot yet fully address. Investigate unclear failures across networks, databases, cloud infrastructures, and enterprise applications at the production level. Use AI to hypothesize, validate, and accelerate diagnosis, capturing human reasoning to train our AI systems. Proactively identify patterns to transform isolated fixes into reliable automations. Challenge LLMs when they err and navigate from packet captures to query plans to workflow traces seamlessly. What You Will Be Doing Investigate complex tickets escalated by AI systems, apply human judgment where AI underperforms, and enhance the AI system by closing identified gaps. What You Won’t Be Doing Spending two full months on onboarding; you will be expected to ramp up on several products within the first month. Depending on your managers for assistance; if you are not skilled at unblocking yourself, you will likely find this role difficult. Basic Requirements Must be based in North or South America. At least 3 total years of experience in a technical customer support role. Advanced generative AI proficiency (use of multiple AI tools, automation of workflows, and custom GPTs). Experience limited to LLM research or content generation is insufficient. Working with Us This is a full‑time (40 hours per week), long‑term position. The role is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as Contractor of Record. The payment period is weekly.
