Dual Pit Manager – Table GamesHard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa is seeking an experienced Table Games Floor Supervisor to support operations on the casino floor.OverviewAs the latest jewel in the renowned Hard Rock crown, this exceptional venue is set to redefine entertainment and hospitality in Canada’s capital city.ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coach a team of Dealers within an assigned section, ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures.Provide positive and corrective feedback to improve Dealer performance.Consult with the Pit Manager to monitor and adjust table limits based on gaming volume.Utilize the player rating system to record wagers and transactions in an efficient, timely manner.Monitor and manage Dealer bankrolls through the approval of transactions and use of fills and credits.Execute card changes and monitor the condition of all gaming equipment within the assigned section.Proactively protect all gaming activity, emphasizing game protection and guest service.Handle casino guests’ needs, complaints and disputes related to Table Games and the overall property in a timely, professional manner.Comply with all departmental and company policies, including business ethics guidelines and regulatory requirements.Offer an exciting, memorable and premium guest experience, resulting in the highest level of customer satisfaction and return play.Maintain a safe, professional, friendly and productive work environment.Promote a positive work environment for all team members.Work diligent to support the company’s culture and team philosophy throughout the property.Resolve guest issues with kindness and empathy.Ensure confidentiality and protection of each guest’s personal information.Act as a role model, representing Hard Rock with integrity.Be ready and available to work all assigned shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.QualificationsHigh school or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.Two (2) years of experience as a Table Games Floor Supervisor or above.Three (3) or more years of experience in Table Games as a Dealer and/or Floor Supervisor for multiple games, including all core games (Blackjack, Craps, Roulette and Baccarat) and all applicable Novelty games.Knowledge of Hard Rock Casino’s compliance and regulations, as well as all Table Games policies & procedures.Ability to obtain registration as a Category 1 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.SkillsExcellent computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.Knowledge and experience using a gaming management system, preferably Bally’s (Tableview & CMP).
