Role: Big Data/Java Developer

Location: Mississauga, Ontario(3 Days Hybrid)

Job Description :


  • 9+ years of IT experience
  • Experience with Spring Boot, Microservices, Hibernate.
  • Proficiency in Java programming language.
  • Experience 8+ years as a Java Developer with a focus on Big Data technologies.
  • Strong proficiency in Java programming language and frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with Big Data tools and frameworks such as Hadoop (HDFS, MapReduce, YARN), Spark (Core, SQL, Streaming), Kafka, etc.
  • Solid understanding of distributed computing principles and paradigms.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase) and SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices (CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.



Good to Have:

  • Experience in Finance / Banking industry – some understanding of Securities and Banking products
