Halifax, Canada Jobber Full time
DO YOU GET EXCITED ABOUT THE IDEA OF CONTRIBUTING TO THE GROWTH OF AN INNOVATIVE SCALE-UP?

Then Jobber might be the place for you We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager - Onboarding to be part of our Growth department.

Jobber exists to help people in small businesses be successful. We work with small home service businesses, like your local plumbers, painters, and landscapers, to transform the way service is delivered through technology. With Jobber they can quote, schedule, invoice, and collect payments from their customers while providing an easy and professional customer experience. Running a small business today isn’t like it used to be—the way we consume and deliver service is changing rapidly, technology is evolving, and customers expect more. That’s why we put the power and flexibility in their hands to run their businesses how, where, and when they want

Our culture of transparency, inclusivity, collaboration, and innovation has been recognized by Great Place to Work, Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures, and more. Jobber has also been named on the Globe and Mail’s Canada’s Top Growing Companies list, and Deloitte Canada’s Technology Fast 50, Enterprise Fast 15, and Technology Fast 500 lists. With an Executive team that has over thirty years of industry experience of leading the way, we’ve come a long way from our first customer in 2011—but we’ve just scratched the surface of what we want to accomplish for our customers.

The team:

The Growth Onboarding team is dedicated to crafting an exceptional first-time experience for service providers joining Jobber. Our mission is to motivate and guide new users, ensuring they choose the right plan tailored to their business needs. By leveraging our diverse talents, we identify and test opportunities to streamline the onboarding process, foster adoption, and establish strong, lasting habits with our product. Through rigorous experimentation and continuous improvement, we propel Jobber's mission to empower small businesses and drive their success from the very first interaction.

The role:

Reporting to the Director of Growth, the Senior Product Manager will set the product vision and strategy for how we approach setup, adoption, and habit formation at Jobber to retain more customers. They will define and own the roadmap.

You will drive a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and data scientists to accelerate our growth.

Through your work with our Sales, Marketing, Success, and Product Development teams, you'll create great user experiences at scale and conduct experiments to discover what works.

The Senior Product Manager will:

  • Drive complex, business-critical growth initiatives. Define a vision, strategy, and roadmap that allows customers to set up, activate, and engage with Jobber’s products.
  • Navigate uncertainty and ambiguity and be adept at synthesizing actionable problems, insights, and requirements from raw, unstructured qualitative and quantitative data
  • Engage and cultivate relationships with product partners to influence shared cross-team directions and manage risks or trade-offs. Communicate clearly and crisply with leadership stakeholders and drive alignment across multiple teams.
  • Become an authority on your Growth strategies, balancing near-term impact with long-term extensibility. You’ll lead your team to identify customer needs and business opportunities through a combination of user research, collecting feedback from cross-functional teammates, diving into data, and competitive analysis.
  • Make data-informed decisions. Know how you’re measuring success before starting any project. Obsess over your KPIs. Know when to commit more or less resources.
  • Define, understand, and improve key growth funnels and metrics. You’ll own complex features and experiments end-to-end, including defining product specs, driving cross-functional execution, and making thoughtful product decisions along the way.

The Senior Product Manager is:

  • Scrappy and comfortable flexing into different roles to support your team
  • An excellent communicator and conveys complex ideas succinctly and clearly
  • Naturally collaborative and empathetic. You're comfortable working with a diverse group of stakeholders across the organization and making sure every voice is heard
  • Curious and inquisitive. You ask “why?” a lot

To be successful, you should have:

  • 4+ years experience as a Product Manager, with experience in Growth
  • Demonstrated ability to influence company-level strategy and work with business leaders to execute on the transformation
  • Built alignment and listen well, but can also drive hard decisions, framing the different options and tradeoffs.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and work cross-functionally in a highly collaborative environment
  • Excitement about building product experiences that create measurable business value

Where you can expect to work:

Our product provides entrepreneurs the flexibility of working in their office or the field and we offer that same opportunity to our employees. You will have the choice to work in either our Edmonton or Toronto offices or remotely anywhere within Canada. We’re committed to ensuring the best experience for all Jobberinos to do impactful work.
