Specifics about the role: Job Type: Full Time Schedule: Days, Evenings and weekends Wage - $25 - $30/hr What you’ll do: Assist the dentist chairside during procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms following strict infection control protocols. Educate patients on oral hygiene, post‑treatment care, and dental procedures. Take and develop X‑rays (if certified) and maintain accurate patient records. Support front desk operations as needed, including scheduling and patient communication. Contribute to a positive, patient‑focused clinic environment. Assists in Implants, Extractions, Bone grafts, Root Canals. What you’ll bring to the role: Experience as a Dental Assistant (preferred 2 + years) Certification as a Level II Dental Assistant Strong verbal and written communication skills, you’re as good at explaining care as you are at providing it. Excellent multitasking and organizational skills, you’re comfortable managing a busy schedule with ease. A collaborative spirit and the ability to work both independently and as part of a close‑knit clinical team. Comfort with dental software systems and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) experience is a bonus Evening and weekend availability. The clinic is open 7‑days a week and until 9pm Mon‑Fri. HARP and CPR certified. IPAC and WHMIS certification is an asset but not required.
