Position: Medical Laboratory Technologist Department: Laboratory Qualifications Certification/Experience/Knowledge Registration with the College of Medical laboratory Technologist of Ontario (CMLTO) in areas of responsibility required Recent relevant experience within the last 3 years and ability to rotate through the core disciplines (Haematology, Chemistry, Blood Bank) Skills/Abilities Effective time management and strong organizational skills required Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with all members of the health team required Ability to work in a fast paced high stress environment Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with a variety of client groups to ensure patient focussed care delivery Ability to be innovative combined with a willingness to learn new tasks required Demonstrated commitment to professional development Demonstrated commitment to continuous quality improvement Good attendance and work record required Must demonstrate a commitment to ensure your safety, the of fellow workers, patients, volunteers and visitors Must support and contribute to a culture of safety and prevention of adverse health events in this organization Bilingualism (Advanced level English/French) is required.
