Band 7 Locum Echocardiographer - Peterborough Location: Peterborough Role: Locum Echocardiographer Banding: Band 7 Location: Peterborough Hours: Full-time Start Date: 10/10/2024 Rate: £45 - £50 per hour Duration: 3 Months The Clinical Physiology team at Pulse is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 7 Echocardiographer to join our dynamic team in Peterborough. This is a full-time, ongoing position with an immediate start. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of echocardiographic procedures, including pacemaker and device checks. Duties and Responsibilities You will perform paediatric echocardiograms to diagnose and monitor heart conditions in children. You will work closely with paediatric cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care. You will maintain accurate and detailed patient records. You will ensure all equipment is used safely and maintained according to protocols. You will provide support and reassurance to patients and their families during procedures. Qualifications and Experience BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent. Accredited by the British Society of Echocardiography (BSE) or equivalent accreditation (EACVI/ARDMS). Proven experience as an Echocardiographer. Experience in performing Echocardiograms. Proven experience in performing echocardiographic procedures. Expertise in pacemaker and device checks. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Why Work with Pulse?
