Position Summary The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering asset-related projects in support of De Havilland Aircraft of Canada’s strategic objectives within the AMO/MRO environment. Reporting to the Asset Management Lead, this role manages multiple concurrent projects across Dash 8-100, 200, 300 and Q400 aircraft, within Canada and internationally, including aircraft-level projects and major component overhaul programs. The role ensures aircraft and component assets are inducted, maintained, overhauled, modified, transitioned, or redelivered in accordance with contractual, regulatory, safety, quality, schedule, and cost requirements. Duties & Responsibilities Plan, develop, and implement project plans and schedules for aircraft and major component overhaul projects across Dash 8, classic and Q400 aircraft, within Canada and internationally. Manage and control project schedules, tracking progress against major milestones and deliverables. Coordinate aircraft and component asset lifecycle activities including induction, storage, maintenance, major component overhauls, modification, transition, return-to-service, and redelivery. Ensure project execution aligns with AMO/MRO objectives, contractual commitments, safety, quality, and customer requirements. Manage project budgets, cost tracking, forecasting, and financial performance for aircraft and component overhaul programs. Establish and maintain project governance, including meeting cadence, reporting structures, KPIs, and scorecards. Ensure effective upward and downward communication across stakeholders, escalating risks and issues as required. Manage project risks in accordance with De Havilland Aircraft of Canada policies and procedures. Provide accurate and timely reporting on project status, risks, costs, and schedule throughout the project lifecycle. Coordinate cross-functional teams including Engineering, Planning, Production, Supply Chain, Quality, Component Shops, and Customer Support. Hold team members accountable for commitments and deliverables, supporting functional managers as required. Maintain clear communication channels to keep De Havilland leadership informed of aircraft and component project status. Support Asset Management, Department Heads, and senior leadership with project-related analysis and decision support. Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, safety, quality, and corporate requirements across multiple jurisdictions. Take initiative to resolve issues, optimize resource utilization, and support continuous improvement. Promote a collaborative environment that supports professional development and team effectiveness. Education & Experience Proven Project Management experience within an aerospace AMO/MRO or asset management environment, including aircraft and/or major component overhaul programs. Experience supporting commercial aircraft, preferably Dash 8-100/200/300 and/or Q400 aircraft. Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, operational environment. Exposure to aircraft maintenance, component overhaul, certification, modification, or return-to-service programs is considered an asset. Strong understanding of cost, schedule, and risk management for maintenance and overhaul programs. Demonstrated ability to communicate complex information clearly using PowerPoint, Excel, and MS Project. Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder-management skills at all organizational levels. Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently or as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
