Your daily life:

As a key member of the team, you will be working with a multi-disciplinary engineering team in the Research & Development department. You’ll lead and manage technical specifications during the development of new products and custom engineered solutions. Your project management skills will be key to ensure customer projects and internal product development projects meet technical scope while maintaining budget and schedule requirements. Your desire to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders will be key to your success. Your excellent organizational skills will be put to good use in composing and maintaining technical documentation, manuals, reports and contributing to documentation to support the overall developmental process.

In this role, you will:

  • Define technical specifications during the development of new products or during the submission process for a particular client by validating market/client needs;
  • Design the complete system architecture of the product in collaboration with senior systems engineers and the project manager;
  • Design and optimize innovative products meeting the targeted specifications;
  • Lead technical coordination and problem resolution workshops by acting as a guide and catalyst;
  • Build test plans and, if necessary, carry them out in order to qualify our products;
  • Present products and concepts to customers as a technical expert;
  • Write technical reports in English;
  • Check key documents produced by team members and document your work according to established standards.

What We’re Looking For:

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in physical, mechanical, electrical engineering or other relevant discipline. A master’s degree or doctorate is an asset;
  • You have a minimum of 3 years’ of relevant experience, including sound experience in system analysis and technical coordination;
  • You excel in an autonomous work environment to successfully manage priorities and work under pressure;
  • You have excellent communication skills, both oral and written;
  • You like to be innovative and have a strong sense of curiosity;
  • You are results oriented from a team perspective.
