Job Purpose Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, the Clinic Manager oversees the efficient daily operations of the clinic. This role is responsible for implementing, leading, and clearly communicating new initiatives and programs to staff and physicians. Additionally, the Clinic Manager works collaboratively with physicians, patients, clients, vendors, and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high‑quality patient care. Principal Responsibilities Patient Care: Responsible for handling patient concerns in an effective manner in accordance with our customer service standards. Physician Support & Relationship Management: Act as primary liaison for physicians, ensuring their operational needs are met promptly. Foster a collaborative environment where physicians feel supported and valued. Proactively address concerns and remove barriers to efficient clinical practice. Maintain open communication to ensure physicians have input into workflow improvements. Treat physicians as key customers—prioritize their satisfaction alongside patient care. Clinic Management: Achieve performance goals including, but not limited to physician and patient retention, patient satisfaction, patient count, controllable expenses, and operational targets. Responsible for patient, physician, and staff engagement. Ensure that company policies, processes and procedures are adhered to. Ensure clinic equipment is well maintained and standards of cleanliness and safety are maintained. Manage clinic staffing levels for adherence to the staffing model. Lead and inspire the team by fostering a positive, high‑performance culture. Motivate staff through clear communication, coaching, and recognition, while ensuring accountability and professional growth through fair performance‑management processes. Hire both medical & non‑medical staff as required. Communicate Health & Safety initiatives. Provide EMR training for new physicians and employees. Conduct internal audits and OHP audits as required. Project Management: Liaise with the Regional Operations Manager and other clinic support team members regarding clinic processes and changes. Communicate and execute on strategic initiatives affecting clinic operations including the ongoing development of a customer service culture, communication, core purpose and core values with staff and physicians. Optimize clinical and medical operations at the Pain Clinic. Business Development: Support and execute on business development programs and initiatives. Support the growth of the clinic. Participate in and support community involvement and perception of the Medicentres brand. Organizational Leadership: Exemplify the organization’s core values and ensure staff are aware of the organization’s core purpose and core values and are performing to these standards on an ongoing basis. Lead by example and demonstrate a ‘hands‑on’ approach in identifying and responding to issues in a timely manner. Administrative Duties: Ensure optimal levels of medical and office supplies. Ensure that funds generated by the clinic are accurately accounted for on a daily basis. Ensure accurate billings are completed and third‑party receivables and cash reports are completed as per requirements. Ensure all team members certification requirements are maintained. Ensure all operational reporting and metrics are completed in a timely manner. Ensure EMR is protected and safeguarded according to organizational policy. Knowledge, Skills & Experience 1–3 years management experience, preferably in a health care clinic. Customer service focus with strong communication skills. Detail oriented with exceptional problem‑solving skills. Demonstrated ability to be adaptable and flexible. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
