About The Opportunity The ATE Student Support Consultant role for the OPOR project is structured to provide robust, in‑person and virtual support for Go‑Live in May 2026. During the pre‑go‑live phase, students will follow a schedule focused on onboarding, training, and project preparation activities that involve evening and weekend shifts for classroom support. In the hyperphase, students transition to a full‑time clinical support schedule, which may include daytime, evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts to provide real‑time ATE support during the CIS Go‑Live. Team members will primarily work from home, with travel within the Halifax Regional Metro area for readiness activities and training. Candidates must reside within one hour’s drive to Halifax/West Hants. As an ATE Student Support Consultant, you will serve as the primary liaison between healthcare professionals and the advanced technology systems they rely on. Your responsibilities include providing immediate, hands‑on support for the OPOR CIS system and other key IT applications, delivering on‑site assistance, resolving technical issues, and offering personalized training. This will enable frontline staff to focus on patient care without technology impediments and will ensure technology implementation aligns with organisational objectives, driving enhanced efficiency, accuracy, and quality of care. About You Enrolled in a post‑secondary diploma or university degree program. Access to reliable transportation. Approved active work term/co‑op. Hours Short‑assignment Student Position January 12th, 2026 – May 23rd, 2026 (assignment length subject to change) Hybrid work arrangement Combination of 7.5‑hour and 11.25‑hour shifts (shifts include days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends) Must be available to work full‑time 37.5 hours per week Compensation And Benefits $22.00 per hour + 4% in lieu of benefits and vacation.
