Director of Care (Registered Nurse) Full-time role located in Welland, Ontario, Canada and surrounding regions. The Director of Care will lead our caregiver team and oversee the delivery of exceptional client care. The role ensures compliance with all regulatory standards, supports staff development, and fosters a culture of excellence in client-centered care. About You Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO). Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) preferred. Progressive leadership experience in home care, long-term care, or healthcare management. Strong knowledge of Ontario’s healthcare regulations and standards. Excellent leadership, information relay, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively with diverse clients, families, and staff. Provide leadership and direction to nursing and personal support teams. Oversee care planning, assessments, and the development of individualized care plans. Ensure compliance with Ontario health regulations, accreditation standards, and company policies. Attract, train, and mentor care staff while fostering positive engagement. Collaborate with physicians, case managers, families, and community partners. Monitor quality of care through audits, evaluations, and continuous improvement initiatives. Handle incident management and ensure timely resolution of client or staff concerns. Prepare reports for management on client care and outcomes.
