Position – UI Programmer Intern

We are looking for a UI Programmer Intern to join the Haven Entertainment Studios project team. You will operate as part of the development team in partnership with the gameplay team. You will design and implement new menus & huds while ensuring that the implementation meets the technical and design requirements. As a UI Programmer intern, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team, their work will enable the highest quality UI/UX experience for our players.

Reporting

The UI Programmer Intern will report to the Technical Program Manager.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develop, implement, and maintain various menus and huds (2D & 3D)

  • Document UI systems

  • Support UI/UX artists

Minimum Qualifications

  • C++ proficiency with a good knowledge of object-oriented development principles.

  • Ability to and communicate effectively with all members of the development team.

  • Ability to organize and prioritize your own work.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiar with UI/UX concepts

  • Interest in the design and implementation of various game systems

  • Experience working in another UI middleware

Nous recherchons un·e Stagiaire Programmeur·euse UI pour rejoindre notre studio. Vous ferez partie de l'équipe de développement en partenariat avec l'équipe jouabilité. Vous concevrez et mettrez en œuvre de nouveaux menus et huds tout en soutenant les artistes UI/UX en veillant à ce que la mise en œuvre réponde aux exigences techniques et de conception. En tant que Stagiaire Programmeur·euse UI, vous ferez partie d’une équipe multidisciplinaire, le travail permettra une expérience UI/UX de la plus haute qualité pour nos joueurs.

Rapport

Le·a Stagiaire Programmeur·euse Jouabilité relèvera du Gestionnaire de Programme Technique.

Responsabilités et tâches

  • Développer, mettre en œuvre et maintenir divers menus et huds (2D & 3D)

  • Documenter les systèmes UI

  • Soutenir les artistes UI/UX

Qualifications recherchées

  • Maîtrise du langage C++ avec une bonne connaissance des principes de développement orienté objet

  • Capacité à communiquer efficacement avec tous les membres de l’équipe de développement

  • Capacité à organiser et à prioriser votre propre travail

  • Compétences analytiques et de résolution de problèmes

Qualifications souhaitées

  • Familiarité avec les concepts UI/UX

  • Intérêt pour la conception et la mise en œuvre de divers systèmes de jeu

  • Expérience de travail dans un autre middleware UI
