About The Role We are seeking an Intermediate Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic team remotely, with the option for hybrid work in Halifax, NS. In this role, you will be instrumental in translating our clients’ business needs into effective technical solutions on the Salesforce platform. You will leverage your in‑depth knowledge of Salesforce development, including Apex, Aura, and Lightning Web Components (LWC), to design, develop, and implement custom applications and enhancements. Your contributions will directly impact our clients’ operational efficiency and customer engagement strategies. You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams, including architects, consultants, and end‑users, to ensure the delivery of high‑quality solutions that align with best practices and industry standards. Qualifications Required qualifications include a minimum of four years of hands‑on experience with Salesforce Sales and Service Clouds, with at least two years dedicated to Lightning Web Components development. Candidates must hold active certifications such as Platform Developer I and JavaScript Developer I, demonstrating their expertise in Salesforce development and JavaScript programming. Proven experience in requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, and documentation of Salesforce solutions is essential. Familiarity with version control systems like Git, DevOps practices, and tools such as Copado is also required. A strong understanding of the Salesforce object model, SOQL, SOSL, and API integrations is necessary. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and analytical problem‑solving abilities are crucial. Candidates must currently reside in and be legally eligible to work in Canada. Preferred qualifications include experience with data migration from legacy systems into Salesforce, bilingual proficiency in English and French, and familiarity with MuleSoft integrations. Additional assets include experience working with Revenue Cloud, Industries Clouds (such as Communications Cloud, Media Cloud, and Health Cloud), AngularJS, jQuery, Google Cloud Platform, and deploying applications to the Salesforce AppExchange. Responsibilities Develop and enhance Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flow to meet client specifications and business requirements. Collaborate with other developers, architects, and consultants to implement best practices in Salesforce development and architecture. Conduct code reviews, ensure adherence to Salesforce coding standards, and maintain high‑quality codebases. Provide ongoing end‑user support, troubleshoot issues, and proactively recommend best practices to optimize Salesforce usage. Participate in client meetings to communicate project status, gather requirements, and present technical solutions and recommendations. Continuously seek opportunities to improve development processes, deployment strategies, and overall solution quality. Stay updated with the latest Salesforce features, tools, and industry trends to incorporate innovative solutions. Perform other duties as assigned to support project delivery and client success.
