Operating in over 200 locations across North America, Levy leverages unbridled creativity, custom strategies, impeccable service, and true love for great food to create unforgettable experiences at arenas, convention centres, entertainment venues and more.From suites and concessions, to high-profile events, we are passionate about delivering the most memorable food and beverage experiences for our partners and guests.Job SummaryNow, if you were to come on board as a Junior Finance Analyst we’d ask you to do the following for us:Work with cross function teams as financial team lead on sales, purchases, inventory and payroll, etc. to translate the information into meaningful and accurate financial data.Use several automation/reporting/ entry tools for processes of Accounts Payable/ Receivables/ Payroll/ Cash/ Revenue and input data on daily basis, identify any variances and work toward resolutionCoordinate and consolidate all month end reporting in terms of revenue, COGS and accrualsDevelop and prepare several reporting tools to facilitate automated financial results for various cost and profit centers.Work closely with accounting team to provide all necessary information for monthly and adhoc reporting; specific reporting includes;New and lost business analysisLike for like analysis and driversSector commentariesManage and consolidate weekly forecasts and comments from sectorsReview and follow up on any outstanding variancesFacilitate consolidation and reporting for mid-year forecasts done by all sectorsWork with sector leads to gather all necessary information for annual budget reportingCompile financial data and complete presentations for Executive teamDevelop and maintain effective business relationships cross functionally with business partners, clients and associatesAct as a primary support for Operation Administrators and Unit ControllersAssist in all new account opening and visit units as requiredThink you have what it takesThink you have what it takes to be our new Junior Finance Analyst? Here’s how we’ll know you are the best fit:Degree in Finance and Accounting field required; currently working towards designation preferredExperience in the hospitality industry is an assetStrong attention to detail as well as critical thinking and analytical skills2+ years of relevant work experience in Finance/Accounting field is preferredProficient in Excel and intermediate level functionalities (V-lookups, pivot tables etc.)Solid written and verbal communication skills, analytically inclined and team playerStrong business acumen & professionalismAbility to set priorities, manage multiple tasks and meet frequent deadlinesPositive attitude with the willingness to accept flexibility in assignments and the desire to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to excelCompass Group Canada is committed to nurturing a diverse workforce representative of the communities within which we operate.
